I went to bed at about midnight. I spent the rest of the night reading the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in one go. As dawn rose on the aftermath of the battle at Hogwarts, the sky outside my window brightened to a lighter blue.
I swear I am so in love with Severus and I will now proceed to bawl my eyes out at the thought of his life.
My love for Dumbledore seems to have doubled, if not tripled, as well. I love you, Albus, even with all your flaws.
And I now have this unquenchable thirst for Dumbledore/Grindelwald slash. It is CANON, I tell you, CANON!! EDIT: OMG YES EVEN JK ROWLING SAID SO MWAHAHAHAHAHA XD
Also, what was the point of all the deaths? I mean, Fred… Tonks, Remus….. Wholly unnecessary to the plot, eh? Mrs Weasley dueling was awesome, of course, but still….. no follow up angst with George afterwards? What happened to Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes? Most importantly, why kill him off in the first place? Pointless.
And now I will proceed to cackle happily that one of Harry’s kids is named after one of my favourite slash pairings XD (Albus Severus lolz OMGz)
All in all, epic. Loved how all the loose ends were tied up. Nice. Lovely. Loved the Dumbledore and Severus retrospectives. Absolutely beautiful.
